Guided by our corporate message of “Innovating GENKI for Tomorrow,” our group has defined our mission, vision, and values, and through dialogue and collaboration with our stakeholders, we strive to fulfill our social responsibilities and enhance our corporate value as we work for the well-being of society. Through our business activities, we will engage with social issues in the medical and healthcare fields as we pursue social sustainability.

Our Basic Policy on Sustainability (Details)

  1. 01

We will contribute to the development of well-being in society by providing excellent products and trustworthy information to our customers who want to enjoy life in good health.
  2. 02

We will strive to maintain and improve the soundness of our entire business process and—as a company that serves as a public entity—we will build deep relationships of trust with our stakeholders.
  3. 03

We will practice sound governance as we carry out our corporate activities under fair and highly transparent management.

Our Sustainability Promotion Framework

The Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee, chaired by our President, discusses key themes, such as the formulation of the Group's sustainability policies and strategies, and progress management. The committee regularly reports the content of the discussions to the Board of Directors and auditors, as well as whenever necessary. The Board of Directors and auditors, in turn, exercise supervision and perform audits.
The supervision exercised by the Board of Directors consists primarily of granting approvals on the sustainability policy, key themes, strategy formulation and setting of targets. In addition, Corporate Management’s Corporate Strategy department promotes sustainability activities and manages the progress of key themes undertaken by each department, including Group companies, based on instructions from the Risk, Compliance and Sustainability Committee.
